Lol...Finally got our pay...They made us wait so long sia...they got ready more than two weeks after we submitted our checklists...And if that didnt delay stuff long enough...Jia Wei had to go on an unannounced vacation to Bangkok... ...And me being the loyal friend that I am, opted to wait for him to come back to collect our pay together... ...BUT, it did not end there... Jia Wei could not collect him pay right after he returned to Singapore as he had to work for his dad and could not go collect his pay... ...If the agent did not threaten to send back the cheques we would not get it today...most probably hav to wait to tml... ...

That Kelly Services (lol...suggestive name huh? *smirk*) also ah...We waited more than two weeks leh...cant even wait 5 days for us... ...That Jia Wei lah...because of him...we ended up later than Kelly Services...make me so pai seh to be later after scolding them repeatedly for being late... ...-_-

And here is a scan of my beloved cheque...I did not think scanning a check is entirely legal so I censored some parts...The cheque number...signature (DUH!) and of course...the ever important...PAY AMOUNT!!!(Censoring was a pain...had to box the parts up and paint black over it manually using paint...the program...not the real thing...) Personally...I dun think that they paid us enough... ...But then again...who is ever satisfied by their current pay amount? We always want more dun we...We can nvr hav too much money... ...lol... ...

Wats that?... ...Why do I hav to take a pic of the cheque if I hav a perfectly good scan of it? Why...I'm glad u asked!!! I very artistic mah... ...I put in a lot of effort into making to pic look cool and professional... ...I made sure that I took the pic of the cheque at an angle and that the cheque will also by at an angle to the table...This combination of angles will giv the pic a sort of high-class advertisement look...I spent a lot of time finding the perfect angle for the camera and the cheque...U wont know if I didnt tell u, but the cheque was not folded this way originally...I folded it this way to giv it a sort of "Just out of the envelope" or "Just recieved" and thus new look... ...I even ransacked my dad's drawers to look for that business looking fountain pen to make it seem as if the cheque was jus signed... ..And the high-class looking fountain pen made the pic look more...well...high-class... ...

This is less obvious, but I also spent a lot of effort(Not that much but...still a lot...)...on the scan...I made sure I boxed up the parts that needed to be censored neatly and perfectly... ...I jus boxed up wat I needed...No more...No less...I was accurate right down to the smallest pixel...REALLY!!!AND...Thats not all...U would notice that the signature is not COMPLETELY censored... ...I left out a bit of the top and the bottom... ...I censored the rest of the cheque perfectly as I wanted to giv it a professional business look...but for the signature...I wanted it to be special... ...I did not censor it fully as I wanted to giv it a "Hurriedly censored" look...To make it look like those censored Top Secret FBI documents shown on documentaries... ...So how?Artistic ah?Call me crazy will ya?... ...On second thought...dont... ...

OMG...Cant wait to cash in the cheque tml and go shopping!!!... ...Shopping the guy way...For guy stuff... ...

At the moment...independent sources state that this is the case...However...Square Enix hav yet to officially confirm that an English version is indeed in production... ....However...Square Enix lack of confirmation is likely due to the fact that even the original Japanese version of Final Mix is not yet released over in Japan... ...But it is said that several dependable independent sources hav stated that it is true and that it might be due to Kingdom Hearts' overwhelming success outside of Japan that they decided for the first time to release an improved game in English(Several Square Enix and Square Co. games hav been improved to include extra goodies like more cut scenes, new weapons and extended storyline, these improved games hav nvr been released outside of Japan. Some examples are Final Fantasy X: International, Final Fantasy X-2: International + Last Mission, Final Fantasy VII: International and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.).

Additional Magic Spells:
So far I hav only seen one that is wind based(Not Aeroga)...It manifests as a tornado around Sora wif Sora floating in the eye of the tornado... ...I am not sure if this spell is offensive or not as I hav only seen it used to propel Sora into the air... ...After propelling Sora into the air...the tornado disappears.

New Drive Form:
Not much is known about this new drive form except for the fact that it looks similar to Sora's original costume in Kingdom Hearts if not exactly the same. From wat I hav seen of the new drive form...it has increased speed, maneuverability, and strength...not unlike Valour Form except for the fact that the new drive form uses only one Keyblade. I hav noticed that this new drive form also enables Sora to use skills from the original Kingdom Hearts (Eg. Sonic and Ragnarok) which is otherwise unusable in Kingdom Hearts 2.

New Areas:
New areas previously unavailable in the original Kingdom Hearts 2 hav been included to Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix... ...

New Cut Scenes:
New cut scenes hav been added to Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix which cant be seen in the original Kingdom Hearts 2... ...

Battle Organization XIII Members:
U can now battle all the Organization XIII members, including those who died during Chain of Memories, using Kingdom Hearts 2's battle system... There will also be new cut scenes during these fights... ...

Heartless Version Of Organization XIII:
There will be a new group of thirteen members which consist of Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix...Sort of like a parody of the original Organization XIII which consist of thirteen Nobodies...Not much is known about this group except for the fact that they dress exactly the same as the members of Organization XIII(Black robes wif hoods) except they hav the symbol of the Heartless on the front of the robes... It is unknown wat species of Heartless are in this group...but from their shape and size...it is likely that they belong to the mushroom branch of the Heartless...as for wat type of Mushroom Heartless they are...it cant be confirmed...

Battle Wif Roxas:
One of the most highly anticipated feature of Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix is the replacement of the cut scene of Roxas battling Sora wif an actual battle...There hav been rumors spreading about the possibility of Roxas being even more difficult than Sephiroth himself... Trailers hav shown the battle wif Roxas having about the same number of health bars as Sephiroth(Which is A LOT btw... ...). However...I hav also seen screenshots of the battle showing Roxas having only 2 health bars...but Sora might hav already weakened him to that point for all I know. As for Roxas' attacks... ...they look EXTREMELY gay...he is extremely fast...he runs circles around Sora, dodging his attacks and rain blows onto him...He also has an attack where he speeds across the room leaving a wave of destruction behind him(Not unlike one of Demyx's attacks).He has also been shown using a combo that attacks 360° wif a range 2.5 times that of Sora's normal combo range. The most impressive attack so far is where Roxas flies in to the air and creates multiple crosses of light on the ground that surrounds him in a circle...he then shoots multiple beams of light outwards and onto the ground...this is done in such a manner that the beams of light resembles a dome...he then goes on to unleash seemingly endless balls of light at Sora by spinning his keyblade. I must admit that Roxas' attacks are most impressive and that his huge amount of health bars came as a shock to me...However...I must say that the rumors concerning Roxas being even more powerful than Sephiroth are totally untrue... ...First of all...Sephiroth is UNQUESTIONABLY the most power character in video game history... ...Secondly...If u look closely at the battle between Roxas and Sora...U would notice that although Roxas' attacks are flashy and continuous, the damage they deal is minimum. However, in Sephiroth's case...one blow from him can take away half or even more than half of Sora's health bar...And Sephiroth's attacks are not exactly slow too... ...In fact...his attack speed is on par, if not faster, then Roxas'.It is thus clear (At least to me)that Sephiroth remains unbeaten to this day... ...

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories

When they say Re: Chain of Memories... ...they REALLY mean Re: Chain of Memories... ...It is MUCH MUCH more then ur average remake...It is Chain of Memories totally demolished and rebuilt from the ground the up... ...NOTHING in Re: Chain of Memories is recycled from he original Game Boy Advance Chain of Memories... ...The only things that were not completely new in Re: Chain of Memories were the 3D renderings of the characters from the original Kingdom Hearts and some of the skills that were used in the original Kingdom Hearts...Other than that...everything else is brand spanking new... ...

New Battle System:
The battle system for Re: Chain of Memories hav NVR been used in any of the other PlayStation 2 Kingdom Hearts games...And even though the battle system in Re: Chain of Memories is based on the battle system of the original Chain of Memories... ...NOTHING is recycled from the original battle system in terms of graphics...the card battle system in Re: Chain of Memories hav been revamped beyond recognition(Well...Almost... ...) and even the reaction command from Kingdom Hearts 2 hav been added to Re: Chain of Memories... ...

Remake Of Chain Of Memories Cut Scenes:
Every cut scene from the original Chain of Memories hav been remade into full 3D wif voice overs for every line... ...Kinda speaks for itself doesnt it?

3D Rendering Of Sleights:
As some of u might know... ...The original Chain of Memories features a sleight system that allows Sora to execute skills...these skills include Omnislash and Zantetsuken which is not executable in any other Kingdom Hearts games...In Re: Chain of Memories...these sleights hav been remade in full 3D...Hope that this means u will be able to see famous skills like Omnislash and Zantetsuken in their full 3D glory wif PlayStaion 2 graphics like nvr before... ...

3D Rendering Of Worlds:
Again... as some of u might know...the original Chain of Memories features worlds that are based on the the worlds of the original Kingdom Hearts game...but wif a twist... ...In Re: Chain of Memories... ....u will be able to see these special worlds in full 3D...this conversion stretches all the way from the springboards to the opening of doors using cards... ...Again...nothing in this area is recycled material as the Chain of Memories worlds is too different from the original Kingdom Hearts worlds even though they are aesthetically similar... ...and the fact that the worlds in the original Chain of Memories is displayed in 2D...it makes it impossible to recycle anything from the worlds of the original Chain of Memories... ...The only thing that is reused in the worlds of Re: Chain of Memories are the map of the worlds...everything else is again...brand spanking new... ...

For those of u who are fans of the Kingdom Hearts series...hope this has gotten u guys excited about Kingdom Hearts all over again... ...I certainly am... ...

So... ... Yesterday, my Dad and I went to ITShow Singapore 2007 to buy me... ...*drumroll* ... ...A LAPTOP!!!WHOOP!!! Yup...u heard me...a laptop... ...although it is meant to be used for studies and all that once I enter the Poly... ...I am still happy that I got one anywayz... ...

It was PACKED yesterday at Suntec as ITShow Singapore 2007 was not the only one holding an exhibition yesterday, albeit it was the biggest one there... ...There were travel exhibitions, food exhibitions and even wedding exhibitions... but ppl were mostly headed for ITShow. There were ALL SORTS of booths at ITShow...ALL the BIGGEST names in IT were there... Sony was there...Microsoft was there...NEC was there...Fujitsu was there...HP was there...even the lesser known ASUS was there... ...

When I reached lv 3 of Suntec... ...i saw one of the BIGGEST booth that was there... ...It was BIG, it was COOL, it was AWESOME and in big shiny letters it wrote... ...PlayStation 3!!! WOOT!!! The PS3 exhibition was BEYOND cool... ...they had all sort of stuff there at the booths...They had six sets of PS3 out on display for anyone to try... ...TONS of HD TVs all around the place...and almost everywhere and on every HD TV...they were bragging about the advantages of the Blu-ray format and watnots... ...There was also a queue for ppl to come and collect the PS3s they ordered online...which was empty...looking at how the price of the PS3 hav yet to drop...it was understandable...oh well... ...it was still cool... ...

Directly opposite the PlayStation 3 exhibition was its arch nemesis... ...the Xbox 360... ...the size of its exhibition was comparable to the PlayStation 3's at first sight... ...BUT...if u look closely...u would notice that only about 1/3 of the exhibition was dedicated to the Xbox 360... ...the rest of the exhibition was displaying softwares like Microsoft Office 2007 and the various Vistas and hardwares like optical mouse and all that stuff... ...

The Xbox 360 exhibition can be described using one word... ...SUCKY... ...compared to the PlayStation 3 exhibition...it SUCKED... ...Here is a list of the difference between the PlayStation 3 exhibition and the Xbox 360 exhibition... ...:

A shabbily dressed DJ wannabe wif a microphone shouting out the capabilities of the Xbox 360 and its price... ...to think that Microsoft actually hired a fishmonger to sell its products... ...Its an IT show okay...not a fish market... ...

Product Test Driving

PlayStation 3:
Two neat rows of PlayStation 3s hooked up to humongous HD TVs wif a variety of games available to play that is sure to entertain ppl people of all age and gender... ... Games include Sonic the Hedgehog, Ridge Racer and the critically acclaimed Resistance: Fall of Man... ...Neat queues were also formed behind each PlayStation 3

Xbox 360:
Xbox 360 sets sprawled all around the place randomly...hooked up to tiny Samsung LCD TVs wif only one game loaded...Xbox 360's last hope... ...Gears of War...Sheesh...Gaming industry newbies... ...

Surprisingly...Nintendo's Wii was nowhere to be seen... ...But on second thought...Nintendo does not deal wif anything IT so it would be weird if it showed up for the event... ...

The ppl test driving the consoles were mostly kids, not the teenagers as kids are the only ones thick-skinned enough to hog on a public display... ...soooo...sadly...I did not get to test drive the holy grail of gaming... ...The PlayStation 3...oh well... ...

We then went on to the 4th lv where all the REAL IT stuffs were... ...The place was HUGE, LOUD and PACKED... ...The moment I stepped in to the hall...I was pushed around and I nearly turned deaf from the sudden increase in noise level... ...But, besides the fact that every booth was playing their own stuff at full blast, creating a deafening mash of noise, it was great there...All sort of stuff were sold there...not jus desktops and laptops...there were selling accessories like laptop batteries, laptop bags, DVD-RWs and all that stuff... ...The prices there were also great...no CRAZY... it is like they are slashing prices every hour ...and towards the end of the exhibition...the slashing got more intense... ...it was nuts... ...

So we went around to look at all the laptops and we, or rather I, got stuck at two choices... ...Acer, or NEC... ...They were of about the same price but Acer's specs were slightly superior in terms of graphics... ...BUT...Acer was made in Taiwan but NEC was made in Japan, AND Acer laptops looks horrible while NEC laptops look stylish... ...It was a hard decision... ...Graphics or quality and looks? Then my father pointed at NEC's slogan , "No.1 Selling PC Brand In Japan". Then i thought... ...the whole of Japan cant be wrong... ...So i went ahead wif the NEC laptop... ...Dad said that we could always assemble a better desktop next time...the laptop has to be light and cool and it is meant for school... ...


We then went on to buy some other stuff like a wireless keyboard and mouse set to use wif the laptop at home as it is difficult to use the keyboard and touchpad of a laptop...might be buying a LCD screen soon to hook up to the laptop at home for easy viewing... ...

We also bought a DVD-RW set containing 100 DVDs to burn stuff... ...So Derick... ...I will be able to get ur sappy OC series on DVD after all... ...AFTER I finish DLing 10 GB/Series via BitComet... ...Did u know the first time I tried DLing season 1 I woke up to a com that told me to clear up some space to that it could even run?!

Objection!

Lol...as u can see... i hav recently changed my blog display pic and BGM... ...For those of u not in the know... ...the pic shouts, "Objection!"... my favorite phase from my favorite Nintendo DS game... ...Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney! And the BGM is my fav one in the game...titled "cornered"... ...

Anywayz... ...here is a short review of the must hav DS game...u play a rookie defense attorney call Phoenix Wright(Duh... ...) and u get to go to court to fight cases...not only that...u get to collect clues on the case... like playing part-time detective! There are lots of cool features in the game that makes it so much different from other games... ...For example...during the investigative stages of the game... u not only got to question witnesses and look for clues...u get to use cool stuff like luminol spray to look for cleaned off blood stains and fingerprinting set to find and even match fingerprints wif those in ur database of fingerprints...cool huh?

But the investigative segments of the game pale in comparison to the intense (Somewat?) and mind-bending (DEFINITELY!) court trials... ...u get to cross examine witnesses...present new evidence and shout around in court once u manage to find a contradiction (Wat Phoenix loves the most... ...) to the prosecution's case! And the sound effects during the trials can really get one hyped up...wif the shouting of objection, the Judge's banging of his gravel and the cool BGMs (Me fav is cornered... as in i jus cornered the prosecution and is gonna whoop their ass!).

Currently there are only 2 Phoenix Wright games available for the Nintendo DS... ...Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney and Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney: Justice For All... ...Both are remakes of old Phoenix Wright games from the Game Boy Advance but they are already a hit wif western gamers that did not get to play the game when it was 1st released for the Game Boy Advance as it was not released out of Japan... ...Both games hav 4 case...and dun think that jus because there are only 4 cases per game and that they were originally Game Boy Advance games... one would be able complete it wif ease...that was wat i thought and boy... was i ever wrong...

I estimate each case to hav around 6-9 hrs of gameplay in them...and that is IF ur case goes smoothly... ...Jia Wei and I hav lost slp playing Phoenix Wright... ...But he still get more slp compared to me...he likes to save in between a case to continue next time while i prefer choinging through a case in one shot... ...HOWEVER...the 6-9 hrs gameplay per case estimate applies ONLY to the remake cases... ...NOT to DS exclusive cases... ...

Currently...there are 3 Phoenix Wright games for the Game Boy Advance... ...two have already been remade for the Nintendo DS...A Phoenix Wright game that is DS exclusive (Phoenix Wright 4) is already in progress...Although no DS exclusive Phoenix Wright game is released yet...we hav had a glimpse of wat is to come... ...

Together wif the 4 original cases in Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney ...there was a new, nvr seen b4 case in the first Phoenix Wright remake... ...This case is better than the original cases... its use of the DS's 3D graphic engine is much more extensive (360° view of objects)and there is a much wider use for the touchsceen (Applying luminol spray and fingerprint power). This case is also MUCH BIGGER...three times as many evidence...more than enough suspects...multiple crime scenes and roughly THREE TIMES LONGER(Exaggerating...maybe around 2 times... ...)! That would make the gameplay around 21 hrs(Exaggerating again... ...maybe around 15 hrs)!

To show how cool the brand spanking new Phoenix Wright 4 game will be...Capcom added this segment in the DS exclusive case where u can fast forward, rewind and pause a security camera tape to show a contradiction to the prosecution's case on the tape... ...

So...I am REALLY looking forward to the remake of Phoenix Wright 3 and arrival of the all new Phoenix Wright 4 wif all of its new features!!! Even though there is one thing i dun like about Phoenix Wright 4... ...the main character is no longer Phoenix Wright but some new kid... ...lame...Phoenix Wright game dun hav Phoenix Wright... ...

Mucus... ...

Came down wif high fever early afternoon yesterday... ...started from running nose and a cold few days back... ...Feeling terrible... ...I hav not felt this terrible since i contracted dengue last year...hope it isnt dengue this time... ...Luckily...i dun hav any symptoms that is attributed to dengue like muscles aches and rashes other than fever...yet... ...Serangoon Gardens seem to be dengue central of Singapore, wat wif all the banners around and being listed as a dengue hot spot... ...

U know wat is the worse thing wif having fever and a cold? It's not the constant heat radiating from ur body... not the lethargic feeling... not the sore eyes... not even the intense on and off headaches... ...The worse thing about falling ill is the MUCUS!!!Those GOD DAMNED sticky substances jus keep filling up the god damn nose... ...I had trouble sleeping because of all the mucus dripping out my nose... ...I was very tired and was feeling extremely sick at that time so i did not bother getting tissue or going to the toilet...i jus wipe my nose wif the back of my hands and rub them "clean" on my pillowcase and went back to sleep... lol... ...but the mucus refused to stop flowing so i resorted to covering my nose rills wif my fingers and went to sleep breathing through my mouth ...lol... ...When they say "Sick as a dog... ...". They really mean "Sick as a dog... ...", my nose was as wet as the wettest dog nose... ...

After slping for over 12 hrs i couldnt continue to do so but i still haven regenerated all my energy to play or watever so i went to the toilet to clear out the truck load of mucus stuck in my nasal cavity...but no matter how many times i blew my nose...more mucus will form... ...i had to blow so hard that i felt as if my brains were gonna spurt right out from my nose (The nasal cavity and the neurocranium is connected... Ancient Egyptians used hooks to pull the brains out of dead guys ready for mummification from the nose rills... ...) for my nose to be clear for five minutes...

I then went on to do something boh liao... ...I stood in front of the toilet bowl and faced downwards... letting my mucus slowly stretch towards the surface of the water in the toilet bowl... ...Turns out that my mucus can stretch all the way to the surface of the water without breaking in half... ...But once my mucus touched the surface of the water...the water pulls the mucus in, snapping the long line of mucus in two and causing my end of the mucus line to snap back into my nose... then it went on to resume stretching slowly towards the surface of the water once again... ...

There is one pleasure attainable from a cold though... ...And that is a loud and hearty sneeze... ...When u hav a cold... NOTHING... i and do mean NOTHING beats a great big ARCHOO!!!
